Job summary

NTT DATA in London seeks a security consultant with broad telecoms security background and multi-year client-facing project experience in a professional services setting.

You will shape enterprise security design across IT, networks, and deployments, aligning with NIST, ISO, ISF, COBIT, and UK regulations, while collaborating with architects and business teams to deliver robust security outcomes.

• Ability to interface with Enterprise Architects, business people, and technologists at all levels.
• Evidence of ongoing personal growth through further architectural and security qualifications (Open CA, TOGAF, SABSA, CCSK, ACSP, CCSP, CCSS, ACSA, CISSP-ISSAP, CNDA).
• Public sector vetting experience or willingness to obtain vetting (e.g., SC).
• Previous experience in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate security requirements into enterprise security architecture patterns and processes across the SDLC phases.
• Use security design experience to identify objectives, risks, controls, and dependencies.
• Define strategic, tactical, and operational client enterprise security architecture options.
• Define IT, network, and security principles for baseline and target architectures.
• Define security architectures aligned with industry practices and UK standards.
• Support programmes to design and implement security controls.
• Review and validate client requirements and use cases.
• Align solution architectures to business missions and processes.
• Oversee documentation and assessment processes for information security.

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

• We need a broad security consulting background with previous experience in a Telecoms environment.
• We need multi-year client-facing project and presentation experience in a professional services environment.

• We need the ability to interface with and build relationships with Enterprise Architects, business people, and technologists at all levels.
• We need evidence of continued personal growth through further architectural and security qualifications and learning such as Open CA, TOGAF, SABSA, CCSK, ACSP, CCSP, CCSS, ACSA, CISSIP-ISSAP, and CNDA.
• We work with Public Sector clients where Defence Vetting such as SC may be required, so we need applicants who hold or are willing to hold vetting certification.
• We need previous experience of working within this type of environment.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you work in the capabilities phases of the systems development life cycle, translating technology security requirements, business and environmental conditions into enterprise security architecture patterns and processes.
• We will have you use Enterprise Security Design or Technical Security Design experience to identify business objectives, goals, strategy, business attributes, enterprise assets, systems, information processes, stakeholder security requirements, risks, required controls, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• We will have you define strategic, tactical, and operational client enterprise security architecture or security solution architecture options.
• We will have you define IT, network, and security principles and the requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
• We will have you define security architectures that manage business risks, including logical security control architectures, organizational and operational architectures, and controls aligned with industry security practices and UK cyber regulation and standards.
• We will have you support programmes or projects to design and implement security controls.
• We will have you review, challenge, and validate client requirements and supporting use cases.
• We will have you align solution and segment architectures to business mission and processes.
• We will have you oversee, evaluate, and support documentation, validation, assessment, and authorisation processes for new and existing information.
• We will have you carry out discovery and audits to extract findings and document recommendations.
• We will have you adopt Cyber and Technology Security Controls Frameworks such as NIST, ISO, ISF, and COBIT to help implement solutions.
• We will have you demonstrate subject matter knowledge in specific security domains such as PAM, IAM, Cloud, IoT, and Threat Profiling.
• We will have you apply knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust concepts and principles.
• We will have you shape end-to-end control requirements across applications, systems, and infrastructure in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• We will have you architect solutions across service and network infrastructure.
