Mercor is seeking senior insurance professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in Fortune 500 enterprise insurance and risk contexts.

The workflows are calibrated to underwriting complexity, regulatory stakes, and claims scale of Fortune 500 carriers, with contributors designing scenarios, drafting reference outputs, and writing rubrics that capture senior operators' thinking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in underwriting, claims, actuarial, or risk management at a Fortune 500 insurer or reinsurer.
• Direct ownership of large-scale underwriting portfolios, claims ops, or pricing models.
• Fluency with enterprise insurance tooling and regulatory/compliance practices.
• Prior rubric or curriculum authorship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct enterprise insurance scenarios spanning complex underwriting and claims cycles at F500 carriers.
• Develop insurance tasks across underwriting, risk assessment, pricing, reserving, and reinsurance strategy.
• Use tools like Guidewire, Duck Creek, SAS, or R in F500 stacks.
• Apply actuarial risk modeling and ERM frameworks to produce reference guidelines and risk narratives.
• Write rubrics to distinguish authentic enterprise judgment from rote memorization.
