Job summary

SBS Skipton Building Society is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to provide technical leadership across Technology and Security domains. The role focuses on shaping architecture roadmaps, guiding teams and ensuring alignment with business priorities, security and regulatory requirements.

You will lead secure, scalable architectures from concept to delivery, mentor teams and collaborate with senior stakeholders and external partners. Hybrid working with a mix of office and remote days is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading solution architecture across complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, governance and best practices.
• Experience across cloud, infrastructure, data, security and software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance and delivery of solution architectures from idea to implementation.
• Shape roadmaps and guide technical teams to align with business priorities and security requirements.
• Provide architectural assurance across design, integration and delivery.
