Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust invites a Consultant ENT surgeon with a sub-specialist Rhinology focus. The post handles adults and children, participates in on-call duties, and links paediatric ENT with regional head/neck services in a major teaching hospital.

Advanced Rhinology fellowship and GMC specialist registration are expected, with experience in anterior skull base procedures. The role includes research and teaching commitments within the department.

Qualifications

• GMC registration (Full and Specialist) required.
• Advanced Rhinology Fellowship completed.
• CCT or evidence of within 12 months of award by interview date.
• Experience of Anterior Skull Base Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinics, operating and emergency care.
• Take part in the on-call rota for ENT.
• Contribute to governance, audits and teaching within the department.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery as needed.
