Job summary

Spotify seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for Agentic Systems to drive architecture and evolution of agent-powered features across Spotify’s suite. You’ll lead a cross-functional team, shaping the technical strategy and consolidating implementations onto a single engine for next-gen experiences.

You will partner with research, ML, and engineering leaders, mentor managers, and translate complex AI concepts into clear product roadmaps that delight listeners while balancing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Significant expertise shipping generative AI tech for high-scale consumer products.
• Proven ability to lead a modern generative AI team (transformers, diffusion, etc.) to improve products while optimizing cost/performance.
• Strong servant leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills to help teams reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for Spotify agent-powered features and drive engineering strategy.
• Provide servant leadership to multiple cross-functional teams across research, ML, and engineering.
• Influence senior leaders with clear communication of complex AI concepts.
• Collaborate with product to define strategy, metrics and roadmaps.
• Guide the convergence of agent implementations onto a single scalable engine.
