JP Engineering in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Engineering Geologist to join its office. You will lead site investigations, manage programmes, supervise fieldwork, and coordinate projects across Scotland and the UK.

This role offers up to £45,000 plus benefits and ongoing career progression. You will produce factual and interpretative reports, assess geotechnical risks, and work within an experienced ground engineering team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar.
• Solid consultancy experience within ground investigation or geotechnical engineering.
• Strong report-writing and technical interpretation skills.
• Experience overseeing fieldwork and site operations.
• Good understanding of UK standards and health & safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing ground investigation programmes from planning through to completion.
• Supervising drilling, trial pitting, sampling, and site activities.
• Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports.
• Assessing geotechnical risks and ground conditions.

Due to continued project growth, a respected engineering and environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Engineering Geologist to join its Glasgow office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work across a broad portfolio of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects throughout Scotland and the UK.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in site investigations, technical reporting, and project coordination while working within an experienced and supportive ground engineering team.
