Job description

Rolls‑Royce SMR. Assist in the implementation of structural integrity requirements and guidance across the business, acting as a stakeholder for work across the design and through the lifecycle. Continue the development and refinement of the beyond‑code requirements which meet the UK expectations for highest reliability components. Develop requirements for lower classification components to meet UK legislative requirements. Define and refine requirements for other international regulatory regimes and expectations as required. Interface with regulators as required through written communication or technical meetings. Be the point of contact for work within the defined scope, managing multiple stakeholders across different functions. Responsible for outputs within defined scope being to‑time and to‑quality, through programme support, technical reviewing and checking. Show appropriate leadership behaviours and advocate for the team / department.

  • Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
  • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
