A multinational defense contractor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Greater London. This flexible role allows hybrid working, focusing on utilizing Agile/DevSecOps for software creation and development. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java, Python, C++, or Rust, experience with agile methodologies, and a background in Engineering or a related STEM field. Salary: Circa £60,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

The Combat Systems Strategic Projects team develops innovative and technically complex applications that are demonstrated to customers through trials and experiments, to be considered for further development into future Combat System products.
