A leading energy consultancy in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Engineer to join their wind team focusing on onshore wind projects. This role involves providing technical support, managing project deliverables, and engaging in business development within the German wind market. We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the German wind team in our Department for Project Development and Project Engineering, with primary focus on the onshore wind market in Germany. You will be part of an international team of advisors involved in onshore wind projects related to the planning, development, construction and operation phase of wind farm projects. Projects vary across services such as technical and/or commercial studies, technical reports and consulting related to due-diligence, project development support, construction monitoring and other services for onshore wind turbine technologies. Your projects will be focused on, but not limited to, onshore wind, but can also include other renewables such as offshore wind, solar and battery/storage.
With an independent and pro-active attitude, you demonstrate strong initiative, an analytical approach and the ability to make efficient technical and commercial judgements. You thrive with high-paced project work, and cope efficiently with a wide variety of tasks. You will be able to apply your project management and technical skills to a rapidly growing and prospering renewable energy technology consulting field. You will be responsible for providing project deliverables according to high-quality standards of DNV, whilst maintaining client interactions and providing them with ongoing support.
You will be based in Germany (preferably Hamburg or Oldenburg), although you will have extensive contact with colleagues across DNV since the projects are often staffed with multi-disciplinary experts in the company.
