Our client, a leading marine engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to join their team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative marine projects and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering design calculations for specific projects
• Ensuring compliance with classification society and/or authority standards as stipulated in project specifications
• Managing the quality of project work, ensuring adequate detail and thorough checking prior to release
• Liaising with customers, representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, classification societies, and authorities to ensure relevant information is available and queries are resolved promptly
• Managing workload across multiple projects, prioritising tasks and proposing solutions for conflicting time requirements in coordination with the Discipline Lead
• Reviewing project work to identify potential areas of technical risk and discussing these with the Technical Project Manager
