Transport for London seeks a Senior Engineer - Materials Engineering (Hazardous Materials) to maintain fire performance standards and provide specialist materials advice to TfL project teams.

*Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period.Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
The core function of this role is maintaining TfL’s fire performance standards whilst providing technical support and specialist materials advice across Transport for London to key project delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards, safety requirements and current legislation.
This role includes providing guidance on fire performance and product selection to TfL’s Rolling Stock and Signals teams and ideally the candidate will have experience in one or both of these areas.
