A leading aerospace and defence organisation is seeking a Senior Engineer Design Assurance in Glasgow on a hybrid basis. You will manage design assurance activities and provide engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and professional certification, alongside a good understanding of the engineering lifecycle. This role offers a balanced work/life and the chance to work on cutting-edge projects.

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or equivalent.

Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Senior Engineer Design Assurance in Scotstoun, Glasgow on a hybrid basis.

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior Engineer Design Assurance to add to their talented, hardworking team in Scotstoun, Glasgow (full time onsite) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the activities which underwrite the design assurance strategy, design resilience and protect the integrity of the design
  • Providing engineering expertise across any part of the engineering lifecycle, and the general tasks that may arise from this
  • Providing dedicated support to users of the Zonal Review (ZX) and Compartment Plan Approval (CPA) Processes
  • Performing Audits on ZX/CPA deliverables
Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrably achieved or working towards an appropriate level of professional certification with a relevant professional body
  • A degree in a relevant subject e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or other equivalent qualification or equivalent experience
  • A good understanding of the engineering lifecycle
