A leading manufacturing company in North Wales is looking for a Senior Engineer to plan maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with EHS. The ideal candidate must have recognised Electrical/Mechanical qualifications and extensive experience in a regulated environment. Qualifications

  • Recognised Electrical/Mechanical qualifications with a completed apprenticeship.
  • Extensive experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Higher level qualification such as a Relevant Degree is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Plan effective maintenance strategies for equipment.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and legislative requirements.
  • Support management in budget compliance.
  • Respond to major breakdowns providing technical expertise.

For the successful Senior Engineer our client is offering:

  • Salary of up to £59,000 per annum (including shift premium)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Flexibility required)

The role – Senior Engineer:
  • Responsible for planning effective and efficient maintenance strategies for all process and utilities equipment on-site
  • Responsible for all aspects of continuous improvement strategies for their area of responsibility within the facility
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS and other legislative requirements
  • Supporting senior management in ensuring all duties are carried out within budget
  • Responding to major breakdowns and providing technical expertise to support the Technicians across the plant
  • All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard
What our client is looking for in a Senior Engineer:
  • Must hold recognised Electrical/Mechanical qualifications with a completed apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
  • Extensive experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Holds a higher level qualification such as a Relevant Degree - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
  • Must be an excellent communicator including verbal and written
  • Experience with SAP
