Murphy is recruiting a Senior Engineer to join the Energy team for the Western Isles linear cable scheme. The role will be based at Tornagrain, IV2 7AE until January 2027 and will relocate to Jamestown, IV14 9ED thereafter.
You will lead health and safety integration, advise on temporary works, coordinate civil works, manage drawings and specs, and ensure timely information flow with the client and supply chain.

Coordinate the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure works, including access points and haul roads, bridges and culverts, trenchless crossings (HDD), earthworks, cable duct installation for 525kV cables, joint bay construction and land reinstatement, ensuring compliance with programme, quality and safety requirements.
