Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for that next step where your work actually shapes new communities across the South?

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing Technical Team in Reading, leading the engineering design and delivery of high-quality residential developments.

What You'll Do

You’ll take projects from the drawing board to the finished site, coordinating everything from early design to technical approvals and on‑site solutions.

  • Managing the design of roads, drainage, and infrastructure for new housing sites.
  • Securing technical approvals (Section 38, 104, 278, etc.).
  • Liaising with consultants, authorities, and internal teams.
  • Providing clear technical guidance during construction.
  • Ensuring cost‑effective, compliant, and sustainable designs.
About You

You're a confident engineer who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively to get things built right the first time.

You'll Bring
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
  • Chartered status (ICE) or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in residential infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of adoption procedures and technical approvals.
  • Skills in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage (or similar).
  • A proactive, hands‑on attitude and great communication skills.
