Senior Energy Engineer

Hybrid Working - London / South East

Do you have experience delivering energy audits, decarbonisation studies or energy performance projects within live environments?

Are you looking to join a leading energy and technical services provider working at the forefront of Net Zero delivery across public and private sector estates?

This organisation is a well‑established player in the UK energy services and decarbonisation space, supporting clients through the development and delivery of low‑carbon energy solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, long‑term value and sustainability, the business works across complex estates to deliver measurable carbon, cost and energy savings.

The Role
  • Delivering energy audits, investment‑grade assessments and decarbonisation plans
  • Supporting funding and grant submissions, including public sector decarbonisation schemes
  • Undertaking site surveys to identify energy, carbon and cost reduction opportunities
  • Assessing technical, financial and carbon impacts of proposed energy measures
  • Supporting design development and verifying delivery during construction
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to agreed timelines
The Person
  • Degree‑qualified in an engineering or energy‑related discipline
  • Strong experience within energy services, energy consulting or performance contracting
  • Proven background delivering audits, technical reports and decarbonisation strategies
  • Good understanding of HVAC, lighting, metering, fabric improvements and renewables
  • Confident working in live operational environments across multiple sites
  • Strong organisational, analytical and project coordination skills
  • Professional membership or working towards chartership advantageous

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
