Job summary

DNV's Investment & M&A Advisory team is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager / Principal Consultant to lead and deliver technical due diligence across energy sector transactions.

You will work with investors, lenders and energy companies, guiding assets evaluation, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders. The role combines technical insight with commercial sense and offers hybrid UK work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Significant consultancy experience within the energy sector.
• Technical due diligence, transaction advisory or M&A experience gained across the energy value chain.
• Experience managing consultancy, advisory or due diligence projects.
• A degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to a wide range of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to technical due diligence engagements for energy clients.
• Evaluate assets, identify opportunities and risks for investments.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on time and safely.
