Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer for a fully remote UK role. You will handle a high-volume tribunal workload for a small number of major clients, acting as an extension of in-house teams and taking ownership from instruction through resolution.

You will draft pleadings and witness statements, provide practical advice, and work closely with clients to meet their needs while maintaining a pragmatic, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Employment Tribunal claims independently.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal procedures.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritise deadlines.
• Pragmatic, commercially minded approach to advising clients.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Advising on contentious employment matters and litigation strategy.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other tribunal documentation.
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide commercially focused advice.
• Managing a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Keeping clients informed throughout the process and helping them navigate employment disputes.
