• Post-qualification experience in Employment and Education Law.
• Advocacy, case preparation and delivering legal advice.
• Ability to manage a legal caseload effectively.
• Experience in local government is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer expert legal counsel on Employment and Education Law to Council departments and stakeholders.
• Handle a diverse caseload including intricate matters.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, agreements, reports and correspondence.
• Represent the Council in Employment Tribunals, Courts and inquiries.
• Provide guidance on legislative changes and case law developments.
• Conduct legal research and propose practical solutions.
