Qualifications

• Meet the requirements of the GMC's Good Medical Practice.
• Experience in posts recognised for General Professional Training.
• ALS, ATLS (or ETC) and APLS provider status.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Supervise and support the more junior medical staff.
• Involved in the resuscitation of acutely ill and injured patients.

Skills

Ability to prioritise workload & use initiative

Good communication skills

Ability to work with and support members of a multidisciplinary team

Experience in EM at middle grade level

Ability to fully participate in rota

Education

Basic medical qualification

Valid GMC registration
