Qualifications

  • Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment.
  • Strong ability to use time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the tax strategy for WEX in Europe across both indirect and direct taxes.
  • Advise on the indirect tax implications of new products and operating in new jurisdictions.
  • Ownership of parent company Group tax relationship, based in the US.
  • Responsible for management of tax audits.
  • Ensuring and enhancing appropriate internal controls for accurate accounting for taxes.

Skills

Experience in Indirect Tax in industry and/or consulting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Advanced excel and adaptive systems skills
Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and AdobeSign

Education

Degree level education preferred
License/Certification: CTA Qualified or equivalent
