Senior Embedded Software Engineer | Next- Embedded Systems – Paying up to £65,000 (Depending on Experience)

Cambridge-based (Hybrid/On-site as required)

Your Profile
  • Proven experience leading firmware development for bare‑metal and Linux/RTOS embedded systems
  • Expert in C/C++ development for microprocessor and microcontroller platforms
  • Hands‑on experience debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and protocol analysers
  • Strong understanding of electronics, schematics, and communication protocols (SPI/I2C, CAN, TCP/UDP, RS232/485, SSH, HTTPS)
  • Experience contributing to software architecture, design, and full life cycle development
