Overview

Are you looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ role working for a global leading engineering business specialising in complex satellite communications systems? If so, my client is currently recruiting for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ to join their R&D site based in Chelmsford, Essex. My client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Team. They are seeking a key individual to join the existing software team engaged in the development of advanced electronics systems for the satellite modems markets. The purpose of this role is to design, develop and support software within the engineering department.

Responsibilities

• Strong Embedded C and C++ programming for PowerPC or high-performance ARM processors.
• Experience programming hardware devices at register level.
• Developing low-level embedded software for Linux operating system, Linux kernel development & Linux network programming.

Requirements

• The successful candidate will be an accomplished Software engineer with experience within a similar job.
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of successfully undertaking complex development tasks to a given schedule with minimal guidance and supervision.
