Octagon Group is seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join the Hayes-based production team. You will be responsible for test activities, fault diagnostics and production support, ensuring robust test procedures across HV and RF components.

Open to experienced testers or graduates with RF/Electronics/Physics degrees, with a requirement for security clearance and a strong grasp of both analog and digital circuitry.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working in electronics or RF environments.
• Open to graduates with a degree in RF/Electronics/Physics.
• Knowledge of high voltage power supply circuitry is desirable.
• Experience documenting test processes and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Testing High Voltage Switch Mode Power Supplies and Travelling Wave Tubes up to 35kV.
• Ensure the product meets test parameters and create evaluation reports.
• Identify failures to component level, determine root cause and record findings.
• Assist R&D with testing prototypes.
