Job summary

Octagon Group in Camberley, Surrey, is looking for a Senior Electronic Technician to support the design, assembly and testing of high-performance electronic products for automotive and motorsport applications.

Based at our R&D centre, you will work on hand soldering, IPC standards, and manufacturing processes, with opportunities to progress into leadership. The role requires experience in electronics assembly, reading drawings, and a proactive approach to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hand soldering to IPC Class 3 standards and familiarity with IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721.
• Experience in electronics assembly within a manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret schematics.
• Senior Electronics Technician experience is advantageous.
