Job summary

Advanced, part of the Halma group, seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve PCB manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems while supporting mechanical and automation needs to maximise uptime and product quality.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, installation support, and continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on safety and adherence to ISO/IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment and strong fault-finding on electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with pneumatic systems and automated equipment.
• Desirable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on PCB manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on SMT machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering, AOI, and pick-and-place equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
• Maintain maintenance records and update maintenance management systems.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
