Job summary

Nova Talent is partnering with a leading engineering and technology organisation to recruit an Electronics Engineer. This role contributes to design, development, testing, and validation of electronic hardware across the full product lifecycle, delivering high-quality solutions from concept through manufacture.

You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, perform circuit design, PCB specifications, testing, and support junior engineers.

Qualifications

• You ideally hold a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in product development or design engineering environments is desirable.
• Experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, testing and verification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of analogue, digital and RF electronics, and hardware integration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing electronic hardware solutions.
• Producing circuit designs, PCB specifications and technical documentation.
• Supporting prototype evaluation, troubleshooting, integration and testing activities.
• Developing and executing test plans and verification activities.
• Participating in design reviews and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.

Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of electronic hardware, helping to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through to manufacture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing electronic hardware solutions.
• Producing circuit designs, PCB specifications, and technical documentation.
• Supporting prototype evaluation, troubleshooting, integration, and testing activities.
• Developing and executing test plans and verification activities.
• Participating in design reviews and continuous product improvement initiatives.

About You

You'll ideally hold a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline and have experience within a product development or design engineering environment.

Experience in some of the following areas would be advantageous:

• Electronic circuit design, simulation, prototyping, and development.
• PCB design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analogue, digital, and RF electronics.
• Communications systems and modulation techniques.
• Hardware integration and verification.
• Network technologies and communication systems.
• The full product development lifecycle, from concept through to product introduction.

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to deliver against project deadlines within a collaborative engineering environment.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £65,000 - £75,000/pa
• Flexitime and core hours (37.5 hours per week, core hours 09:30-15:00)
