Job summary
A Senior Electronics Design Engineer is sought by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd to join its innovative electronics design and manufacturing business in the UK. This hands-on role focuses on designing complex hardware solutions for major OEM customers across sectors including Automotive, Defence, Medical, and Space.
The successful candidate will own designs from concept through production, work with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor other engineers while ensuring quality, compliance and timely
Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience in electronics hardware design.
- Proven experience taking designs from concept through to production.
- Experience with mixed analogue and digital design, including microcontrollers.
Responsibilities
- Design electronic hardware from concept through to production.
- Circuit design, component selection, simulation and analysis.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers and review layouts.
- Board bring-up, testing, measurement and fault finding.
- Support EMC, validation and qualification activities.
- Produce specifications, reports and test documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and customer meetings.
- Identify technical risks and manage project timescales.
- Provide technical mentoring to other engineers.
