Job summary

Overview

A global business in the Aylesbury area is looking to increase its R&D capability due to successfully winning new projects. Chroma are looking for aSenior Electronics Design Engineerwho can design bespoke boards from concept/specification.

The role ofSenior Electronics Design Engineerreports to the CTO on a day-to-day basis working as part of a multi-disciplined team. You'll act as Technical Lead on projects, mentoring and supporting other junior engineers. The team consists of hardware, mechanical, software, test and validation engineers.

This role is classed as full lifecycle, where you'll be involved from specification, design, test, validation and delivery for manufacture. You'll be working with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Technical Lead on projects, mentoring and supporting other junior engineers.

  • Involved in the full lifecycle from specification, design, test, validation and delivery for manufacture.
Qualifications
