Technical Futures Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare Systems Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of EW systems. You will work within a defence consultancy, shaping opportunities and proposals and discussing EW capability with MoD and industry stakeholders.

You will lead technical delivery, develop solutions, and support trials and demonstrations with customers. A British passport holder eligible for UK security clearance is preferred.

A Senior Electronic Warfare Systems Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of EW Systems together with a deep understanding of the threat systems landscape, will join a Technical Consultancy pushing the boundaries of Defence related Engineering development.

A British Passport holder, eligible for UK Security Clearance, you’ll bring in-depth experience of one or more of RF/Electronics, Software, Signal Processing or FPGA; with a breadth of experience which covers the EW landscape, threat systems, operational context and architectures.

The successful Senior / Principal Electronic Warfare Systems Architect / Design Engineer will shape new opportunities and proposals, developing technical solutions, leading technical delivery as well as supporting trials and demonstrations with customers. You must be comfortable discussing EW capability and threat systems with MoD and industry stakeholders as well as getting into technical detail with engineers.

Key Requirements include:

• Extensive professional design experience relating to Electronic Warfare Systems.
• Strong technical background in RF/Electronics, Signal Processing, Software and/or FPGA.
• A deep understanding of the Electronic Warfare landscape and threat systems.
• A network of technical relationships across the MoD, Defence industry and relevant international communities.
• Experience of contributing technically to bids or new business opportunities and leading technically complex engineering activities.
• Holding or with eligibility for UK DV Security Clearance.
