Job summary

Copello Global Ltd is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team in Cambridge. You will develop high-performance electronic products from concept through to manufacture, collaborating with hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams.

The role focuses on analogue, digital, and mixed-signal design, PCB development, and rigorous testing. UK security vetting applies; three days on site in Cambridge with hybrid benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Experience in analogue and digital electronic design.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Understanding of electronic testing, debugging, and laboratory equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience within RF, communications, or high-frequency electronics.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Relevant industry standards, including IEC 62368-1, IEC 61000, CISPR, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS50881.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits.
• Produce technical specifications, schematics, and support PCB design activities.
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities as well as wiring, harness and technical documentation.
• Work closely with hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
• Work with interfaces including PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN, I²C and SPI.
