Senior Electronic Engineer – Overview

Office based, commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Leicester, Newark‑on‑Trent and Grantham. Hybrid working available (2–3 days onsite). £60,000‑£70,000 plus Monday to Friday, 26 days annual leave, bank holidays and benefits.

The Role – Responsibilities

• Oversee design, testing, development and certification of electronic hardware products.
• Lead both new product development and existing product projects.
• Collaborate with global offices; international travel required (average 3–4 times per year).
• Hybrid working from Nottingham (2–3 days per week).

The Person – Qualifications

• Senior Electronic Engineer / PCB Layout Engineer / Senior Hardware Engineer / Electronic Design Specialist (or similar background).
• Experience in design and development of projects from start to finish.
• Extensive knowledge of low‑power system design and low‑power embedded design.
• Knowledge of IoT or connected device development.
• Must be commutable to Nottingham and prepared for international travel.
