Qualifications

• Proven experience in electronics design and development.
• Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) – DV eligibility.
• Experience working with MoD customers and defence standards.
• Knowledge of CE/UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards.
• Proven electronics design and development experience in digital and analogue domains.
• Experience with OrCAD or similar schematic capture and PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and systems.
• Lead projects from concept to customer acceptance.
• Drive system integration and fault finding.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including test houses.
• Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation: schematics, BOMs, change notes.
• Present at design reviews and support technical discussions confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience working with MoD customers and defence equipment standards (Sonar experience is a strong advantage)
