Job summary

The role covers 240V mains and low‑voltage systems, DMX lighting and display electronics, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will read schematics, manage resources, and mentor crew on site. Flexibility for occasional travel to international sites and overtime may be required, with a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations compliant.
• Experience with 240V mains installations.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage systems.
• Previous leadership of a small electrical team.
• Experience in shopfitting/exhibitions/live events.
• Electrical fault-finding expertise.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a small team of electrical technicians and installers.
• Allocate workload and resources across multiple projects.
• Ensure safe working practices and conduct toolbox talks.
• Monitor productivity, quality standards and deadlines.
• Support recruitment, training and performance development.
• Build, wire, test and commission activation installations.
• Produce safe cable routing solutions and RAMS.
• Review drawings, advise on electrical specifications and methods.
• Support workshop manufacture and site installations across the UK and internationally.
