V7 Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee full electrical scope on large-scale data centre developments in Newcastle. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and drive delivery from construction through commissioning to handover.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, planning and safety focus, with responsibility for programmes, procurement and resource management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Experience across data centre developments or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong planning, budgeting and procurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all electrical installation activities across the project.
• Coordinate electrical design and technical activities with internal engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor site progress against programme, budget and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication.
• Liaise with design teams and subcontractors for cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
• Drive productivity through daily/weekly work planning and supervision.
• Promote safety and quality across all activities.
• Review and approve project documentation and weekly reports.
