Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical engineering across complex defence projects in Manchester. You will oversee concept to commissioning, ensure safety, budget, and quality compliance, and provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
The role requires delivering large-scale electrical installations, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, managing programmes and risk, and upholding high standards of documentation and system performance.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Manchester team working on our high-profile defence project. At Dalkia Engineering, we pride ourselves on designing, delivering, and commissioning electrical and mechanical installation systems in a variety of industry-leading buildings.
The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the electrical aspects of the projects from initial concept through to successful completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with required quality, technical and regulatory standards. This position provides strong technical leadership while supporting project teams and maintaining close collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you'll need a proven track record as a Senior Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Project Manager, or we could consider a Senior Electrical Engineer within the MEP, Building Services sector with strong project management skills.
You’ll have experience of delivering large-scale electrical installation projects from design through to commissioning and handover and experience managing large electrical packages, within complex environments.
In addition, you will need experience managing multidisciplinary teams including engineers, subcontractors and site management personnel with the ability to manage project programmes, budgets, risk registers and resource planning.
You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships.
