Coleman James is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team, focusing on high-profile data centre and advanced manufacturing projects on a national basis. The role requires leading the electrical estimating function to ensure accurate, competitive pricing of electrical systems and containment across bids and projects.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, evaluating quotations, and developing bid strategies with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical estimating for data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers and value engineering.
• Proven bid management and tender submission skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical estimating for data centre projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for LV/HV distribution, UPS, generators, containment and lighting.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliance.
• Develop bid cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and delivery teams.
