Job summary

Build Recruitment is looking for an Electrical Estimator from Intermediate to Senior level to join a leading engineering business. The role is based across the South West with Bristol as the office base, offering a salary of £50,000-£75,000 and a car allowance with remote working.

The successful candidate will prepare estimates and tenders, review drawings and tender documentation, and collaborate with work-winning, engineering and commercial teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Electrical Estimating.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical building services.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good Excel and IT skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience with major projects would be advantageous.

The Role

• Prepare estimates and tenders for Electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Work closely with the work-winning, engineering and commercial teams.
• Identify risks, opportunities and potential cost savings.
• Support bids from initial enquiry through to submission.
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
