Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy based in London is seeking a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer for their Operational Assets team. This role involves securing and delivering projects, particularly focusing on sustainable solutions for existing buildings. Candidates should possess strong abilities in leadership, project delivery, and excellent communication skills, especially in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects to help clients achieve net zero targets while being a part of a highly engaged team.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance specification and detailed design work.
• Understanding of primary and secondary engineering discipline.
• Comfortable with UK and EU regulations.

Responsibilities

• Secure new projects and service existing clients.
• Lead and deliver small projects up to a few million pounds.
• Supervise and guide team members.
• Liaise with clients and write technical reports.

Skills

Qualified design engineer (chartered status or working towards)

Experience working on projects in existing buildings

Strong knowledge of data and metering

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Organisational and planning skills

Interpersonal and influencing skills

Proven track record in work winning and team building

Education

Engineering degree
