Working on‑site from our client’s London office, you will develop your expertise through a variety of Rail and Building Services projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a variety of electrical design projects, centred around the Building Services and Rail sectors, from concept through to implementation.
• Produce accurate design works, with a focus on drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, supporting their professional development and fostering technical and operational excellence.
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant standards, legislation, and sustainability goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services and/or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered status or working towards attaining one.
• Extensive experience with designing and delivering electrical building services projects, with a focus on Rail and the Built Environment.
• Strong proficiency in software tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant electrical design platforms such as Dialux, Amtech, and/or Relux.
• Sound understanding of electrical systems, with a focus on fire alarms, life safety systems, LV distribution systems, and lighting.
• Profound leadership and interface skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and a strong commercial understanding.
