Senior Electrical Engineer

Our Client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Job Duties

• The ideal candidate will provide support to grid operations, planning, and research with Client's Research and Development.
• They will also support projects in time lead efforts to deploy and evaluate emerging technologies in this arena.
• This position is primarily focused on tools to support grid operations with an emphasis on Power System analysis, "Big Data" analytics, and visualization.
• The work will also involve projects in other areas of the Power System.
• Knowledge of databases, data structures, and computer networking is desirable as well.
• Hybrid Work environment (reporting in Office at least 3 days per week (12 days a month)).
• Long term contract (Estimated Duration of Assignment 5 years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Specialization in Power Systems desired.
• Experience with computer programming (Python, C#, SQL) desired.
• Advanced degree in EE, computer science or other related fields strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
