Job summary

Enpure Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team in the West Midlands. You will work on LV/HV systems, inspect existing LV installations, and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to deliver innovative, cost-effective designs for water projects.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, a strong benefits package, and opportunities to lead technical solutions that protect the environment and deliver value for water

Qualifications

• HNC or HND or professional qualification in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good report writing and time management.
• Able to develop bespoke, value-for-money designs.
• Experience with water-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess existing LV installations including MCCs and power distribution.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to develop innovative designs.
• Deliver water designs and specifications for water-related projects.
• Apply sustainable design principles and environmental considerations.
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet project timescales.
• Write clear reports and maintain documentation.

A Bit About The Role Requirements -

• Experience of inspection and assessment of existing LV electrical installations, including MCCs and Power distribution arrangements
• Ability to work with engineers from all disciplines to optimise and develop bespoke, 'value for money' and innovative designs.
• Experience in the delivery of water designs and specifications on water related projects for Water Companies or similar
• Appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions
• Knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems

Professional Membership And Qualifications

• HNC or HND or professional qualification in electrical engineering
