Your Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Warship Technical Authority, you will:

• Provide engineering support to various programmes and projects, including Royal Navy surface ship support contracts and international naval support contracts.
• Deliver core WTA service elements for platform systems, such as Design Change Management and Obsolescence Management.
• Support technical leadership and governance activities within your project.
• Contribute your electrical engineering expertise to platform systems engineering activities.

Core Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Providing electrical engineering support for power generation, distribution systems, and more.
• Assisting with the maintenance of platform systems and equipment design integrity.
• Conducting structured investigations and impact assessments for assigned projects.
• Supporting feasibility studies for potential platform and equipment changes.
• Ensuring safe and efficient implementation of design changes.
• Contributing to the development of bids for engineering activities.
