Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Manchester is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and compliance of electrical systems for Oil and Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience, with significant time spent in electrical engineering within major projects. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures is beneficial.
• Exposure to construction and commissioning phases is a plus.

We are looking for a senior Electrical Engineer with below requirements:

1. Day to day control of FEED / EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, loads, SLDs, switch gear and interfaces, power system automation etc.
2. Provide timely comments on FEED / EPC deliverables and ensure their implementation.
3. Oversee the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems.
4. Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations
5. Review and approve electrical load calculations and system analysis.
6. Review and approve electrical engineering drawings and specifications.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures / practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
• Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
