Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovative building services design to lead electrical engineering across a variety of exciting projects.

You’ll take ownership of design packages, guide junior engineers, and be the go-to expert in project meetings, site visits, and interdisciplinary coordination. From concept through delivery, you’ll drive high-quality, sustainable, and technically sound solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop calculations, drawings, and technical specs
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines
• Ensure compliance with building regs, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelines
• Support renewable energy strategies and smart building systems
• Visit sites and maintain design intent through construction

What You Bring

• 4+ years' experience in building services design
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Amtech, Dialux, etc.
• Strong understanding of sustainability, safety, and industry standards
• Experience in leading teams and collaborating across disciplines
• Working toward CIBSE or IET chartership

Bonus Points For

• Experience managing project budgets or client relationships
• Knowledge of BMS, AV, and home automation systems
• Interest in smart networks and power management
