Job summary

A leading energy services company in the UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector. The role involves controlling FEED/EPC engineers, overseeing the design of electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and preference will be given to those with PMC experience. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required, along with knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in Electrical engineering for Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is beneficial.

We are looking for a senior Electrical Engineer with below requirements:

1. Day to day control of FEED / EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, loads, SLDs, switch gear and interfaces, power system automation etc.
2. Provide timely comments on FEED / EPC deliverables and ensure their implementation.
3. Oversee the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems.
4. Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations
5. Review and approve electrical load calculations and system analysis.
6. Review and approve electrical engineering drawings and specifications.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures / practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
• Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
