Job summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our UK team in Glasgow or London. You will lead complex electrical design work across major infrastructure, energy and industrial projects, acting as a technical leader within multidisciplinary teams and guiding delivery from concept to execution.

Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Significant post-graduate engineering experience, typically 8+ years.
- Experience delivering complex electrical engineering projects.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or project guidance.
- Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and delivery of complex electrical engineering designs and solutions.
- Acting as a trusted technical specialist and providing guidance to project teams.
- Supporting multidisciplinary project delivery from concept through to execution.
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring technical excellence, quality and compliance.
- Developing engineering standards, procedures and best practices.
- Managing technical scope, quality, budgets and schedules for assigned workstreams.
- Collaborating closely with clients, project managers and engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Supporting business development and helping identify future opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Mentoring and developing engineers across the team, helping build future technical capability.
- Contributing to solutions that address complex infrastructure and energy challenges globally.
