I'm supporting a successful and growing building services consultancy in Croydon that is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. This is a key role within the business, well-suited to someone who has worked in a smaller consultancy environment where both hands‑on design and management responsibilities are required.
This position offers the opportunity to lead junior engineers, manage projects, develop client relationships, and take ownership of electrical design delivery across a wide range of sectors including Education, Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, and Survey/Condition Reporting projects.
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll take a lead role in overseeing design output, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high technical standard. You'll manage project costs, support fee proposals, and play an active role in developing the technical standards within the team.
You will be involved from concept through to completion, producing specifications, drawings, schedules, reports, and cost estimates, while also managing client relationships and supporting the wider project team.
HNC, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
