Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEICA team in the UK. You will contribute to the winning and delivery of projects across Energy, Water and Resources sectors, bringing strong electrical and control systems design expertise.
You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable, high-quality solutions that meet budget and programme requirements, while applying CDM regulations and industry best practice.

Our Electrical Engineers apply their specialist skills to infrastructure projects across the globe. We offer our clients a broad spectrum of expertise and consulting services in, but not limited to, the following industries: Water - water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, reservoirs, water distribution; Energy – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BES), hydro, Combined Heat and Power (CHP), waste-to-energy, solar PV, hydrogen. wind, gas; Power – HV/LV Transmission and Distribution; Industrial Clients – steam generation, chemical handling; Process - food and beverage processing.
Our clients include water companies, energy generators, energy infrastructure owners, rail infrastructure owners, Government agencies and councils, process industries and renewable energy investors.
We are looking for talented Senior Electrical Engineers to join our growing MEICA team, with experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems considered advantageous. In this role, you will contribute to the winning and delivery of projects across the UK within the Energy, Water and Resources sectors.
Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you will help develop innovative and sustainable solutions while supporting the successful delivery of projects to agreed quality, programme and budget requirements. You will bring strong technical expertise and provide guidance on electrical and control systems design across a varied portfolio of projects.
The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of schemes, including renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, hydro and energy storage, as well as water treatment, water distribution, wastewater and industrial infrastructure projects. You will apply and further develop your knowledge of electrical and control systems, CDM regulations and industry best practice while contributing to technically robust and sustainable outcomes.

Eligible UK Driving license is preferred, along with holding or being eligible to gain security clearance is advantageous.
