Job Description
The Job Mission

This senior-level role will see you lead a defined electrical scope within a major UK nuclear infrastructure project. Your future team is delivering innovative electrical solutions across the full project lifecycle. You'll ensure design excellence while aligning with regulatory and project standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review electrical designs to meet UK nuclear standards
  • Lead technical assessments to identify optimal electrical system solutions
  • Prepare detailed specifications, design reports, and calculations
  • Provide expert guidance during installation and commissioning phases
  • Coordinate electrical designs across multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement
  • Act as primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders
  • Drive project delivery through leadership, planning, and review
Qualifications
Essential Skills
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Experience in LV design, cable sizing, and AMTECH software
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK nuclear standards and safety regulations
  • Strong capability in Revit, PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Proven track record in multi‑discipline coordination
  • Experience managing electrical designs in regulated industries
  • Previous experience in site/construction environments
  • Chartered Engineer (or actively working toward chartership)
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of electrical building services
  • Familiarity with electrical protection and control systems
  • Experience managing design changes and document reviews
  • French language proficiency is a plus
  • Experience in a client‑facing, leadership engineering role
